will award 6,001 winners with 
          a total value of $3,190,100 in prizes.


         The top First Phase Winners will be awarded 
                  at the GoodStoryADay.com 
          Grand Opening online - December, 2008

     Good Story Young Writer Winners will be notified
              by E-mail on or before that date.

1 First Place Prize: The author of the first place winning story will receive $25,000 in publishing services. These services include designing, illustrating, editing, proofreading, producing and publishing the winner’s story as an E-book, a hardcover book, and a talking book recording. The First Place Winner will own the copyright and all marketing rights except those expressly reserved by the publisher. The First Place Winner will also receive 80 percent of the retail sales of all of his or her E-book/product sales through the publisher., as well as 80 percent of the net profits from hardcover sales and CDs sold through the publisher. The First Place Winner will receive one-on-one coaching in book promotion and marketing. The publisher will arrange appearances on talk shows and book signings as part of the book promotion. What a way to springboard a young writer’s career! Prize Value of $25,000. Ten percent of the profit to the publisher from the sale of this book will be donated to Charity.

100 Second Place Prizes: The top 101 winners (including the first place winner) will receive five online/tele-classes in Creative Writing, Oral Reading, Attention-getting Packaging, Profitable Marketing and Successful Publishing. These five courses have a total value of $5000. Collective Prize Value of $505,000.

500 Third Place Prizes: The next 500 winners will receive two courses, Creative Writing and Oral Reading, with a combined value of $2,000. Collective Prize Value of $1,000,000.

1,000 Fourth Place Prizes: The next 1,000 winners will receive one course, Creative Writing, valued at $1,000. Collective Prize Value of $1,000,000.

These 1,601 young 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place winning writers receive classes worth $2,530,000 plus the opportunity to showcase their writing with others on www.GoodStoryADay.com. Each also will receive a lifetime GoodStoryADay FREE subscription. That’s 20 years of good stories—365 days a year. It is valued at $100 to each winner. Collective Prize Value of $160,100.

5,000 Fifth Place Prizes: The next 5,000 stories will be published, upon approval, online in www.GoodStoryADay.com. Each Fifth Place Winner also will receive a lifetime GoodStoryADay FREE subscription. A $100 value each winner. Collective Prize Value of $500,000.

Total Educational and GoodStoryADay Prizes to Young Writers: $3,190,100.

Publishing and sharing the stories of young winning writers with children around the world will help these young writers gain greater - self expression, - self esteem, - self worth, - appreciation of good writing, and - sharing of goodness in the world. Total Value – Priceless!

Each entrant will receive notification of the winning status on or before the publication date of their story, and will be asked to sign a release form which will allow the story to be published on www. GoodStoryADay.com.
